The right person for a job is usually a few connections away. Pass opportunities on, and earn a connector reward when they're done through you.

How it works

  1. Pick an opportunity

    Find one you know someone for. Your Earn tab shows what passing it on can pay.

  2. Send it to someone who can

    Share your link to a group chat, or send it straight to someone the app suggests from people you've worked with.

  3. They pass it on too

    If they can't do it, they pass it along. Each pass gets it closer to the right person.

  4. It gets done, you get paid

    Most opportunities carry a connector pool of 5% of the reward. The pass that reached the finder gets half, the one before it a quarter, and so on.

    Not just the people who can do the job. The people who passed it along earn too, closest first (shares under $1 aren't paid).

Questions

Do I have to do the job to earn?
No. Pass an opportunity to someone who can do it. If they finish it through your link, you earn a share of the opportunity's connector pool.
What if my friend can't do it either?
They can pass it on too. The person who reaches the finder earns the most, and each person before them earns half of the next one's share, for up to 6 hops. Shares under $1 aren't paid, so on small opportunities only the closest people earn. So it's worth passing even when you only know someone who knows someone.
Does it cost the person who does the work anything?
No. Connector rewards come out of the platform's fee. The finder always gets the full reward.
When do I get paid?
When the opportunity is completed and approved. To collect, set up payouts and verify your ID; your share waits for you for 90 days.
I told a friend in person. Can they still credit me?
Yes, before they take the opportunity: they open "Did a friend tell you about this?" and pick you or enter your friend code (it's on your Earn page). That counts toward your connector badge. Referral rewards only apply when you shared the opportunity with them through Otters and Bees, so send your link, or give them the code at the end of it.
What are connector badges?
A thank-you for getting opportunities to the right person, even when the cash share is small. Your badge grows with every opportunity completed through your passes (once per poster and hunter pair), and connectors with at least 3 in the last 30 days are listed by kind of work. You can leave the list in your settings.
